Wonderfully Made Homeless Home
In August 2011, Wonderfully Made Foundation opened the first Wonderfully Made Homeless Home, the Ruby Jewel Site, with goals to Embrace, Impart, and Empower the lives of individuals who are in transition.
In October 2013, the second home, the Becky Ann Site, was opened.
The Homes provide 90 day transitional housing as well as emergency shelter services for women and children who are homeless. Each WMF Homeless Home offers a community
area, a community kitchen, a family room, and outside play area. In addition to providing a place for families to call home, our Homeless Homes also provide Family Literacy, Job Training, and Educational/Life Skills and Enrichment through
our “Pathway to Success” Program.
Courses offered through “Pathway to Success” Educational/Life Skills & Enrichment Program include:
GED prep classes
Parenting
Budgeting/credit repair
Self-improvement/Self Esteem
Healthy relationships
Total wellness, etc.
The Home also offers:
Case Management
for Social Services
Housing Assistance
Counseling
Bus Passes.
